Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body. It is of two type’s reconstructive surgery which includes craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, microsurgery, and the treatment of burns and the other is cosmetic or aesthetic surgery which aims at improving the appearance of it. Aesthetic or Cosmetic surgery is an essential component of plastic surgery and includes facial and body aesthetic surgery. Plastic surgeons use cosmetic surgical principles in all reconstructive surgical procedures as well as isolated operations to improve overall appearance of humans. A range of lasers are used to treat various skin conditions including scars, vascular and pigmented lesions, and for photorejuvenation.
