How safe is cosmetic surgery?

Aesthetic surgery is becoming more popular as its importance and needy for the people in becoming beauty as per every women’s thought tempted to improve their looks surgically is increasing rapidly day by day in which there are now around 100,000 operations in the each year analysis. Aesthetic surgery has become trivialised to some extent and the boundaries between aesthetic medicine and aesthetic surgery had become blurred and now people are in a belief that cosmetic surgery is somehow simple. However good surgeons should go through with all the risks and affects caused with any patient as complications can leads to bleeding, clotting of the veins, infection, thrombosis and give them time to change their mind before undergoing any treatment or surgery. Some cosmetic surgical procedures are more risky than others. As when compared with other surgery, longer operations that involve a general anaesthetic are more risky than those that need only a local anaesthetic.  For example: A tummy-tuck is one of the surgical procedures involved which has higher complication rates because the ability to move freely and easily is restricted after surgery is completed. Moreover, going abroad for treatment has become an increasingly popular option from the past few years as it can be cheaper. Surgeons warned that it could also be riskier as they had seen an enormous increase in the numbers of patients who had already undergone and experienced complications caused from cosmetic surgeries. Cosmetic surgery will never be risk free completely besides careful assessment of risks is certainly needed and taken care while combining procedures are done. Though it has proved plastic surgery to be exceedingly safe, the fact is no medical procedure could be carried without any risk during or after the surgery is completed.
